Ok. Here we go again. As the summer heated up it robbed all the moisture from the clay soil we are building this track with. It made it impossible to pack the track down and harden it off so that it is rideable. Now that the weather is cooling off and we are getting a little moisture we will be working hard to finish this off for fall riding. After the track itself is hardened off we will clean up the edges of the track and start on the tabletop jump line.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know I did some research on the goat head problem. The best way to kill the plant is with any weed killer, but to get rid of the stickers themselves the best way is to burn them, with either a controlled burn, or a hand held torch. I don’t know if that is a good option, but I thought I would share what I learned. Also I am stoked to work on and ride the track, when are you getting back out there? This storm should really help.
